    Properties of SiO2-based Ceramic Coating on MB2 Magnesium Alloy

    • SiO2-based ceramic coating was prepared on MB2 magnesium alloy by thermo-chemical reaction.Coating performance was tested from the micro-structure,thermal shock resistance,wear resistance and corrosion resistance and so on.A new phase of MgMnSiO4 was generated.There was a relatively high combination strength between coating and substrate,and the coating had good wear and corrosion resistance.
