EXTERNAL FUSION BONDED EPOXY COATING FOR STEEL PIPELINE

The recent application situation and typical cases of external fusion bonded epoxy coating of buried steel pipelines are described and analysed,from which some suggestions of the design and construction of external fusion bonded epoxy coating are put forward as follows:management of the pipeline project should be strengthened to guarantee the quality of coating;external fusion bonded epoxy coating should be preferred in flat open country;space between cathodic protection stations can be reduced suitably in the mountainous and rocky area to attain the best protection effect.
