    Anticorrosion Performance of Epoxy Coatings Modified by Multiwalled Carbon Nanotubes

    • The influence of MWCNTS (multiwalled carbon nanotubes) dispersion on corrosion resistance of epoxy coating was studied. The corrosion resistance of the epoxy coating no added filler, the epoxy coating primitive MWCNTS and the epoxy coating added with modified MWCNTS were evaluated by electrochemical impedance spectroscopy(EIS). The results showed that the resistance value of the three kinds of coating systems reduced with the immersion time increasing. Compararision impedance spectra of coatings and failure times indicated the epoxy coating with modified MWCNTS system the best corrosion resistance.
