Progress in Corrosion Research of Porous Metal Materials

Porous metal materials as a kind of special function materials have been widely applied to aggressive industrial environments.The classification,corrosion types,mechanism of electrochemical corrosion and chemical corrosion at high temperatures of metal porous meterials have been summarized.The development and current application of various corrosion testing methods for porous metal materials,for example,weight-loss method,electric resistance method,strength method,pore characteristic reference method and electrochemical impedance method,have been introduced.The main problems in corrosion behavior research of the porous metal materials have been discussed.The development prospects and research directions in this field have been pointed out.
