    Research Progress of Measurement Methods for Cathodic Protection Potential of Buried Pipelines

    • Several conventional measurement methods for cathodic protection potential of buried pipelines are introduced and compared. The close interval potential survey (CIPS) method and the polarized probe method are introduced in detail and several potential measurement techniques which are designed to eliminate the IR drop are summarized. Some noticeable problems about cathodic protection potential measurements of special pipeline section are put forward and discussed.
