    EFFECT OF ADDITIVE ON MICROARC OXIDATION OF Al-Mg ALLOY

    • The characteristics and technology of Al-Mg alloy microarc oxidation were investigated in the mixed electrolyte solution of aluminate and molybdenate including E11 and E12 alcoholate additives.The microarc current was in the range of 3-5A,the solution temperature was below 35℃,and the solution conductivity was greater than 3.5Ω·m for NaAlO2+NaMoO4+E11+E12 mixed solution.The oxide film of Al-Mg alloy was composed of MgO,MgAl2O4 and Al12Mg17,and its corrosion rate was much slower than the matrix.The microarc oxidation film was uniform and compact in the solution with additives.
