Contrast on CO2 Corrosion Performance between 15Cr Low Alloy Steel and N80 Steel

    • The CO2 corrosion performance of 15Cr low alloy steel and N80 steel were investigated by electrochemical methods at various temperatures in simulated CO2 corrosion medium. The results indicated that with the increase of temperature, the corrosion current density decreased, the charge transfer resistance decreased, and the capacitance arc at intermediate-high frequency and inductance arc at low frequency gradually dwindled, while small capacitance arc at low frequency occurred. In addition, 15Cr low alloy steel had a little worse anti-corrosion performance than N80 steel at lower temperature, inversely at higher temperature.
