Abstract
The influence of temperature on performance of Al-Zn-In-Mg-Ti sacrificial anode was studied in dynamic seawater using constant current control, electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) and surface morphology observation in comparison with the results in static seawater. The results showed that with temperature decreasing, the open-circuit and working potentials of the anode gradually became negative, but the electrochemical capacity and current efficiency increased, dissolution morphology became better. At the same temperature, the open circuit potential and working potential in dynamic seawater moved positively, electrochemical capacity and current efficiency decreased, dissolution morphology was poorer in comparison with the results in static seawater.
