    A STUDY ON ELECTROLESS PLATING Ni-P ON SURFACE OF AZ91D MAGNESIUM ALLOY

    • A direct electroless Ni-P plating on AZ91D magnesium alloy was investigated,which used H3PO4+KF as acid pickling pretreatment and 2NiCO3·3Ni(OH)2·4H2O as the main salt.The deposit velocity of the plating was measured by metallographical section.The microstructure,composition,micro-hardness and binding force of the coating were measured by using XRD,SEM,micro-hardness test and scratch test.With the optimum formula and deposit velocity,good plating surface and performance were obtained.
