    ROOM TEMPERATURE CURED EPOXY PRIMERS ON METAL SUBSTRATE

    • Four amine curing agents were chosen for crosslink of epoxy resin and then the cured epoxy coating properties were tested.The drying rate,mechanical properties,resistance to 5% NaCl solution of the coatings were excellent,but the adhesive force to the metal substrate,resistance to acid and alkali were not very good.A kind of amide silane coupling agent was used to improve the properties of the epoxy coatings.The adhesive force was enhanced and the resistance to acid and alkali was also improved when the coupling agent amount was 0.4%.
