    Correlation Study of Accelerated Corrosion Testing and Outfield Testing of Aluminum Alloy

    • With measuring and analyzing corrosion morphology,potential and EIS,the initial corrosion of aluminum alloys in marine atmosphere and correlation of simulated marine atmosphere accelerated corrosion test and outfield corrosion test were studied.The EIS of aluminum initial corrosion surface belonged to adsorbent impendence type.Initial corrosion was accompanied with slight potential rising and oxide layer corrupting,which was more obvious in outfield test than in accelerated test.There was good correlation in corrosion morphology,potential and EIS for outfield and accelerated test results.
