    Inhibition Efficiency of 2-Methyl Imidazone and Its Compound Corrosion Inhibitor in High Hardness Electrolyte Solution

    • The inhibition efficiency of 2-methyl imidazone and its compound corrosion inhibitor for carbon steel was investigated in high hardness electrolyte solution under acid condition.The results showed that the best inhibition efficiency obtained when the concentration of 2-methyl imidazone was 60 mg/L and the temperature was 50 ℃;2-methyl imidazone with thiourea and potassium iodide had good compound effect and the best corrosion inhibitor effect was all at the ratio of 1∶1.
