Changes of Mechanical Properties of Anchor Bolt Material before and after Corrosion

From the changes of mechanical properties of anchor bolts which suffer corrosion, the problem of changes in mechanical properties of anchors is put forward. Studies show that with corrosion amount increasing, the actual load value and the theoretical value of a bolt material are close, the actual strength fluctuaties around the theoretical strength; the nominal strength is obviously reduced. In the evaluation of mechanical performance of corroded reinforced material, the nominal strength value can not simply be considerea as a reference, multiple variables should be integrated.
