Application of Impressed Current Cathodic Protection for Three-phase Separator

The results of on-site opening tests showed that the traditional method of sacrificial anode cathodic protection could not protect the internal wall of three-phase separator effectively.This paper introduces the technology of impressed current cathodic protection applied to tank protecton in CNOOC Weizhou terminal treatment plant.The parameter determination methods in oil field media and problems in construction are also discussed.
