Abstract
Sacrificial anode performance of iron-base materials was measured in seawater by constant current experiment and their feasibility of usage in cathodic protection of 12Cr steel tubes was analyzed by polarization curves and circulation Volt-Ampere curve. The results show that the material C had good sacrificial anode performance, steady working potential, and high current efficiency, even and slow dissolution, and enough driving potential to protect 12Cr steel tube. The results of marine cathodic protection experiment show that the material C had quite good protective effect on 12Cr steel tube.
