    ANTICORROSION EFFECT AND PRELIMINARY FILMING TIME OF A VOLATILE CORROSION INHIBITOR PAINT

    • A volatile corrosion inhibitor (VCI) paint has been prepared and its composition includes thermoplastic crylic acid resin,VCI,heat stabilizer,antioxidant,tenacity-increasing agent,anti-mildewed agent and organic solvent.The VCI paint with different VCI contents was sprayed on the inside surface of standard post-paper-boxes.Preliminery films were formed with different times at room temperature.Accelerated corrosion testing indicated that the corrosion resistance increased with increasing the content of VCI in the paint or prolonging the preleminary filming time.
