CORROSION INHIBITION ABILITY OF PASP TO CARBON STEEL IN ACID ENVIRONMENT

The corrosion inhibition ability and effects of polyaspartic acid(PASP) for 45# carbon steel in acid solution were studied with electrochemical method.PASP had certain corrosion inhibition function under the experiment conditions.The efficiency increased with the increase of PASP concentration.The increase of the corrosion inhibition efficiency was steady when the conccentration of PASP was 10 g/L.The inhibition efficiency was more than 80% when the concentration of PASP was 50 g/L.The immersing time,temperature and state of carbon steel surface could influence the corrosion inhibition efficiency.
