    Screening of Inhibitors for Mothballed Sea-pipelines

    • The mothballing media used for sea-pipelines will result in sea-pipeline corrosion and influence the sea-pipeline work after demothballing. By stimulating the environment of sea-pipeline and using polarization resistance method and weight-loss method, the kind and dosage of inhibitors used for mothballing were studied. The results show that the effect of HYH-1312B is the best if used in freshwater as the medium for mothballing. Considering both inhibition and economical efficiency, the best added concentration of HYH-1312B is 40 mg·L-1.
