Grey Relational Analysis for Soil Corrosion of a Buried Pipeline

    • In order to analyze the influencing factors of soil corrosion along a buried pipeline quantitatively, the grey system theory was used to analyze relevant factors affecting soil corrosivity along the buried pipeline in a oil field, the correlation was calculated and sorted. The results showed that the main factors affecting the soil corrosivity along the buried pipeline of the oil field followed the order: sulfate ion content, chloride ion content, soil resistivity, water content, temperature, oxidation-reduction potential. The secondary factors followed: natural potential, pH value. Among the factors, the influence of sulfate ion content and chloride ion content are particularly remarkable.
