Analysis of Anti-corrosion Life of Coating System on Outer Surface of Steel Box Beam of Bay Bridge

Based on the exposure and inside corrosion test data of coatings in Qingdao marine environment, the anti-corrosion life of coating system on the outer surface of steel box beam of bay bridge was analyzed. The results show that the service life of zinc-aluminum alloy complex coatings prepared by thermal spraying may exceed 27 years, meeting the requirements of 25 years service life of bay bridge’s coating system.
