    • The corrosion resistance of stainless steels 940X and 9Cr18 was investigated by salt spraying tests and pitting potential measurements.Results show that the general corrosion and pitting corrosion resistance of stainless steel 940X was better than that of stainless steel 9Cr18.The mechanism of corrosion resistance of stainless steel 940X was also discussed based on SEM and EDS analyses.
