    PERFORMANCE OF MECHANICAL Zn-Al PLATING

    • Surface morphology and structure of fracture surface of mechanical Zn-Al plating were studied using stereomicroscopy,metalloscopy and scanning electronic microscopy.The porosity,bonding strength and corrosion resistance were detected and the influence of adding Al on its cladding performance was analyzed.Mechanical Zn-Al plating was a kind of protection film with fine integral performance,smoother than mechanical galvanizing layer,without porosity,with high impact resistance and its corrosion resistance was better than that of galvanizing layer.
