Corrosion and Its Prevention of Gathering System in Yakela Gas Field

Yakela condensate natural gas field is located in Kuche county of Xinjiang and the gathering and transferring system was built and put into service in 2005.It takes the process with first order station arrangement and single pipe without heating.The media of pipe transmission have some characteristics,such as high pressure,high output,high velocity and CO2.The corrosion phenomenon has been outstanding particularly after the system was put into production because the corrosion circumstance is very severe.The relative corrosion mechanism has been discussed specially,and the corresponding countermeasures are put forward.
