Abstract
Aluminum anode alloy is an ideal anode material for batteries.Influence of solution temperature on the electrochemical performance of an anode alloy in 4 mol·L-1 NaOH was investigated by open-circuit potentials, polarization curves, electrochemical impedance spectroscopy and galvanostatic discharge curves. The results showed that the open-circuit potential and working potential obviously shifted towards negative with the increase of the solution temperature, and the activation of the anode alloy was enhanced. However, the hydrogen evolution rate rose up significantly. At the temperature of 40 ℃,the alloy showed preferable comprehensive performance and uniform corrosion morphology.
