Progress in Research on Non-chromate Chemical Conversion Treatment for Magnesium Alloys

The recent process in research on non-chromate chemical conversion treatments for magnesium alloys was reviewed.Non-chromate chemical conversion treatments for magnesium alloys such as phosphate conversion treatment,phosphate-permanganate conversion treatment,stannate conversion treatment,organic substance conversion treatment and rare earth conversion treatment were introduced,and the advantages and problems of existing treatments were discussed briefly.
