Effect of Gallium, Tin and Bismuth on Electrochemical Performance of Sacrificial Anode

    • The effects of alloying elements (Ga, Sn and Bi) on electrochemical performance of Al-Zn-In aluminum alloy sacrificial anode were studied in natural seawater. The dissolution forms, current efficiencies and other characteristics of sacrificial anodes also studied. The results show that the optimum contents of alloying elements are: 0.22% Ga, 0.05% Sn and 0.02% Bi.
