    Main Influencing Factors and Laws on Transfer Efficiency of Paint for High-pressure Airless Spraying

    • The influencing laws of high-pressure airless spraying working parameters such as spray pressure, equivalent diameter of nozzle and spray distance on the transfer efficiency of paint were studied by electronic weighing method and iron red antirust paint as working fluid. Experimental results show that the transfer efficiency of paint for high-pressure airless spraying increased with the increase of the equivalent diameter of nozzle, decreased with the increase of the spray distance, and increased firstly and then decreases with the spray pressure. With the comprehensive influence of multiple parameters, the transfer efficiency of paint showed an optimal point, at which the working parameters for the equivalent diameter of nozzle was 0.48 mm, the atomizing pressure was 12 MPa and the spray distance was 250 mm. The study results can provide the reference for working parameter selection of high-pressure airless spraying.
