    Application of RBI Technology to Unit’s Corrosion Risk Prediction of an Offshore Oil and Gas Field

    • The risk prediction and corrosion mechanism of an offshore oil and gas field’s equipment were analyzed using risk-based inspection (RBI) technology, and the optimized inspection strategies were also established. Within a set period, the risk of the equipment was reduced down to a reasonable value range, which would reduce inspection cost, improve production efficiency and extend the device’s operating cycle.
