Improvement of Weathering Resistance of Alkyd Resin Exterior Protection Coating for Oil Country Tubular Goods by Polystyrene

The weathering resistance of alkyd resin exterior protection coating was improved by adding polystyrene.The properties of adhesion and atmospheric corrosion resistance of the exterior protection coating could be enhanced by adding compatilizer,liquid epoxy resin and silicane coupling agent,and the surface drying rate of the coating was accelerated by dryer and low boiling point solvent.The quick drying exterior protection coating was applied to the oil country tubular goods (OCTG) factory successfully and effectively to protect OCTG for a long time from corrosion during storage and transportation.
