Development of Corrosion Research of Metal Materials in Salt Lake Circumstances in the West of China

The development of corrosion research of metal materials in brine,atmosphere and soil of salt lake circumstances in the west of China is summarized in this paper.Some existing problems and future direction of corrosion research in salt lake circumstances are also discussed.The research of the corrosion behavior of metal materials in salt lake circumstances was started relatively late,and the previous research was focused on the accumulation of corrosion date.With the exploitation of salt lake resources,the research about the corrosion mechanism of metal materials should be strengthened.
