    Potassium Chloride Zinc Plating and Trivalent Chromium Passivation Technology

    • The technology of potassium chloride zinc plating and trivalent chromium passivation is satisfactory for decoration and protection of most zinc plated parts and Cr6+ free requirement.Using certain raw chemicals as additives can lower the plating cost.The effect of bath composition and the control of operating conditions are discussed.The trivalent chromium passivation is less affect by the bath and markedly by the operating conditions.As long as the three factors of pH,temperature and time are well controlled,a uniform bluish film can be stably obtained.The measures of controlling Fe3+ are proposed.
