  • After studying the electrochemical behavior of 5083 aluminum alloy in sea water, the protection potential and protection current density of cathodic protection for the alloy were obtained. Then pilot boat testing and coupon testing at dock were carried out with impressed current mode. The results showed the useful prospects of this technology.
