Influence of Parameters on Corrosion Resistance of Ni-Co Alloy in NaOH Solution

Abstract
Through high frequency pulse electroplating,Ni-Co alloy was prepared.The effects of process conditions such as pulse frequency,duty cycle,current density,pH value,temperature and concentration of CoSO4·7H2O on polarization behavior and corrosion rate of the alloy were studied by orthogonal experiments.The optimal process parameters were pulse frequency of 140kHz,duty cycle of 0.25,current density of 3 A/dm2,pH of 3,temperature of 55 ℃,CoSO4 of 10 g/L.The Co content increased and the grain refinement strength was enhanced in the high-frequency pulse plating.
