Abstract
A technique of electrochemical hydrogen charging was used to study the behavior of hydrogen-induced cracking. The average hydrogen concentration diffused in 2.25Cr-1Mo steel during hydrogen-induced cracking(HIC) was measured. In order to investigate the relationship between hydrogen concentration near the crack tip and HIC,a finite element analysis was adopted to simulate the hydrogen diffusion regularity near the crack tip in the interaction between stress and hydrogen environment. And the magnitude of hydrogen concentration at the crack tip during the crack growth was presented.
