    Electrochemical Corrosion Behavior of Super-hard Aluminum Alloy Deformed by ECAP

    • The electrochemical corrosion behavior of aluminum alloy AA7075-T651 deformed by equal-channel angular pressing(ECAP) in NaCl solutions was studied by using electrochemical techniques.The experimental results showed that self-corrosion potential and pitting potential of AA7075-T651 deformed by the same EACP moved in negative direction with increasing Cl- concentration,However,in the same NaCl solution,self-corrosion potential and pitting potential of AA7075-T651 deformed by different EACP moved in positive direction with the increasing pressing pass,The influence of Cl- concentration on corrosion resistance of aluminum alloy was much greater than that of ECAP techniques.
