Determination of Cathodic Protection Parameters of Grounding Grid

The electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) of carbon steel and zinc-coated steel was measured at different potentials to determine the cathodic protection parameters and optimize the protection potential.Results show that the optimum cathodic protection parameters such as protection potential could be obtained by EIS measurements .The practical use of anti-corrosion system of cathodic protection can restrain the condition of corrosion.Cathodic protection is very significant for prolonging the service life of grounding grid.
