    • The sulfate corrosion is an important research aspect of cement-based material′s durability.The formation of ettringite,gypsum and thaumasite is the major sulfate corrosion mode of cement-based materials.The chemical composition,pore structure of the cement-based materials and sulfate concentration in external environment decide the type of sulfate corrosion.The formation conditions and mechanism of ettringite,gypsum and thaumasite are analyzed and the primary forms of corrosion damage are compared.
