Abstract
In order to study the wear resistant and corrosion resistant performance of biological coating on titanium alloy, micro-arc oxidation film coating process was used to prepare hydroxyapatite (HA) coating on in TC4 alloy surface, XRD was used to analyze the main biological ingredients of HA coating. And the simulated body fluid (SBF) was prepared, immersion test and corrosion test for the coating were performed. A friction and wear testing machine was used for wear resistance test. The results showed that the HA biological ceramic coating, suffered degradation and precipitation after long soaking time, the mass first decreased and than increased. Wear changed with wear time, and eventually showed a steady trend; SBF solution pH changed from 7.1 to 7.8, only a little change, the chemical stability corrosion resistance of the coation are good. It is concluded that this kind of coating material can be suitable for biological fluid environment, and has good wear-resisting corrosion resistance.
