Abstract
A mannich base was synthesized by condensation reaction with formaldehyde, hypnone and aniline as raw matenals, and then added with chloroactic acid to get the mannich base quaternary ammonium salt via quaternization. The mannich base quaternary ammonium salt has good acid-soluble performance,it forms a monolayer film on the carbon steel surface, and each mannich base quaternary ammonium salt molecule replaces 1.38 water molecules averagely.EIS results indicated that the film and charge transfer resistance increased with the increasing of concentration of mannich base quaternary ammonium salt.Through decreasing pre-exponential factor and increasing activation energy of the corrosion reaction, mannich base quaternary ammonium salt decreased the corrosion rate. After mixing the mannich base quaternary ammonium salt with propargyl alcohol, the inhibitor can be used to acidication operation for HCl or mud acid at 180 ℃.
