    FACTORS AFFECTING THE QUALITY AND COMPOSITION OF BARREL-PLATED Fe-Ni-Cr ALLOY

    • Fe-Ni-Cr alloy electrodepositing experiment on iron substrate in chlorid-sulfate solution by barrel plating was performed.The Fe-Ni-Cr alloy quality was bad and the content of Cr was only about 2% by barrel plating.The phenomenon of barrel roll eye stamp often appeared.Factors affecting the quality and composition of barrel plated Fe-Ni-Cr alloy were analyzed.The factor affecting the quality of barrel-plated Fe-Ni-Cr alloy was that the local cathodic current density was too powerful.The main factors affecting the composition of barrel-plated Fe-Ni-Cr alloy were the concentration of chromium salt in the bath,pH,temperature and impurity ions of Cu2+ and Fe3+.The problems of Fe-Ni-Cr alloy plating at present and its application prospect are presented.
