    Application of Iron-base Sacrificial Anode Made in China on Cooler

    • The feasibility of copper coolers protected by the iron-base sacrificial anode was analyzed by the cathodic protection theory. The electrochemical protection property and practical application were compared between some typical homemade iron-base sacrificial anodes and the anodes made in Russian. The results showed that the materials made in China were similar to the material imported from Russia. When the working potential was above the protective potential, the efficiency of homemade anodes was higher than that of Russian. And the current efficiency of homemade Q235 sacrificial anode was also higher than that of CT3пс sacrificial anode made in Russia in the practical use .The protection persistence was longer than that of traditional zinc alloy sacrificial anode.
