A Volatile Antirust and Moisture Absorption Desiccant

Volatile corrosion inhibitor (VCI) technology is a novel technology in metal antirust in recent years. A new type of volatile antirust and moisture absorption desiccant composed of VCI, bentonite and CaCl2 was prepared. The antirust and moisture absorption experiments indicates that this product works well not only in terms of volatile antirust, but also in moisture absorption. So it can be used extensively in the metal antirust under the condition of high-moisture surroundings.
