Importance of Solving the In-situ Mending Problem of Three-layer PE Pipeline

There is a big concern in the quality of pipeline anti-corrosion raised from numerous problems appearing during the in-situ mending of three layer PE pipelines. One of the reasons caus the reduction of mending quality is due to the GB standard (GB/T2325-2009), Technical Standard of PE Anti-Corrosion Coating on Underground Steel Pipelines, which does not provide a strict requirement. In this paper, based on field application examples, the author recommends a better anti-corrosion material. This material is easy to use, and is expecting to improve anti-corrosion technique to a higher level.
