Structure Improvement of a Measurement Separator

    • Wall thickness thinning and perforation resulted from the corrosion of measurement separator bottom head are the main reasons of the vessel scrapping. The process of installation and replacement of the vessel is complex process and takes high cost and long time. According to the analysis of corrosion causes and corrosion position, the structure of vessel body, support, liquid level gauge and other parts were improved, including the decrease single component size and the simplification of the process in installation, repair and replacement. The structure improvement enhanced the equipment safety and corrosion resistance.
