CORROSION AND CORROSION FATIGUE OF TYPICAL AIRCRAFT JOINTS

Abstract
Two typical joins of LY12 with 30CrMnSiA and LC4 with LC4 were selected from the structure of aircraft wing joined to airframe.The typical joints with different pre-treatments were tested in solutions at different temperatures with different pH values and different NaCl concentrations.The typical joint of LY12 with 30CrMnSiA had a good corrosion-resisting property and the other typical joint of LC4 with LC4 had bad corrosion-resisance.Different pH values and different NaCl concentrations did not show distinct effect and different temperatures had some effect on fatigue properties.
