Preparation and Properties of Cr3+/SiC Composite Coating on Scraper

Taking Cr3+ solution as the base electroplating solution,the Cr3+/SiC composite coating was prepared on the scraper surface.The adhesion properties of the composite coating were improved by pre-plating Cu process.The fictional and wear properties of the composite coating were studied by microhardness testing and morphology observation of worn surface.The results showed that the wear resistance and micro hardness of the scraper were significantly improved by the composite electroplating.
