Equivalent Protection and Effecting Factors for Hydro-steel Structure

Considering the main anti-corrosive measures of coatings and the possible galvanic corrosion problem,equivalent protection for hydro-steel structure is presented in the form of mathematic method.Its importance in corrosion economics is pointed out.The reasons for non-equivalent protection and the ways for realizing equivalent protection are clarified.The effects of various factors on lifetime of protection and their mutual relationship are discussed.These may provide theoretical foundations for analyzing and solving problems of corrosion and protection of hydro-steel structure.
