    Corrosion Inhibition Efficiency of Cu-Ni Alloy Coated with MBT in Culture Containing SRB

    • Corrosion inhibition efficiency of MBT (2-Mereaptobenzothiazolec) could be enhanced through improving the solubility and dispersion by adding HQ、TX-10、NaOH and so on.The results of metallographic microscopy and weight loss testing showed that the film of MBT on the surface of Cu-Ni alloy could be formed more easily and better.when inhibitor MBT,synergic reagent HQ and solubilizer TX-10 were added.Cu-Ni with and without MBT were immersed in the culture medium containing SRB respectively.Electrochemical test and surface analysis showed that the film formed on the surface of Cu-Ni alloy could inhibit corrosion caused by SRB and improve corrosion resistance of Cu-Ni alloy.
