Causes of Corrosion and Application of Inhibitors in Oil Protection

Anti-corrosion is a very important subject in the oil industry, corrosion is an important factor restricting the oil industry development. So, research and application of corrosion protection technology have great significance. The causes of corrosion in oil production and the influence factors of corrosion are reviewed, the application status of corrosion inhibitors as an important anti-corrosion technology in oil production are summarized, and the development trend of corrosion inhibitors is outlooked in this paper.
