Abstract

The soak test and the slow strain rate test method(SSRT)were used to research difference of corrosion of SPV490Q steel in seawater and fresh water. Soak test results show that,the corrosion potential and the corrosion rate have little difference.The SSRT results show that,stress corrosion susceptibility all belong to slow.
